About Me
Greeting to my friends, family, fellow bloggers and professors!
For all of those who don’t know already, my name is Sarah Miller and I am a freshman here at the beautiful (and soggy) University of Oregon. I haven’t decided a major yet, but I have narrowed it down to some possibilities… Photography, English, Environmental Studies, Theater and Journalism! …So, maybe I need to do some more ‘narrowing,’ but hey, this is life and you only get to live it once.
Although I would need to consider it more to have it become my profession, Photography is my LIFE. It is such an interesting art that can portray endless interpretations. Although I personally enjoy portrait photography the most, all types are interesting to me. I will be displaying lots of photos that I have taken throughout my journeys.
I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. I guess you could say that I am a true Oregonian in many ways. More rain means more green. Why drive a car when you can take a bus? Why take a bus when you can walk? And more importantly, why walk when you can bike? I love this state and all the bountiful beauty it has to offer.
When people ask me what I believe in, I usually tell them a few things.
1) I believe in being beyond yourself.
2) I believe that it is ignorant to live on this earth without understanding it.
3) I believe that it is important to understand how your body works. I mean… you will live in it you’re whole life…
4) Finally, I believe that every person has an obligation to themselves to expand their mind, exercise their spirit and do something they never thought possible.
Please feel free to talk to me at any time! Enjoy!

P.S…. Yes. That is a giant chipmunk on my arm in the picture… Haha.
